Indigenous Ambiance: Rapper of Discussion

Rapper Cameron Giles or Cam'Ron is a very controversial emcee. Known for other alias' such as Killa Cam or King Jaffe Joe. Leader and creator of "The Diplomats" now known as Dipset U.N (Us Now). He has rapped with many from Big Pun to Big L. Most people judge him on a misunderstanding that what they think are nursery rhymes when in fact he goes over the head of most listeners. For example take the song "Get Em Girls" off of "Purple Haze" which was a classic album. Most criticize the first verse when in actuality the lyrics produced in that verse require more talent than most rappers in the game now. For example the first line "I get the boosters boostin, I get computers putin" in which he is talkin about the perks on being the driving force behind a crime organization. In addition the song "Killa Cam" off of "Purple Haze". Take "Lemon head end up dead, Ice like Winnipeg, Gemstone, Flinstone, You can say I'm friends with Fred". He cleverly uses the term "ice" in two ways. Meaning act up and you can end up getting "iced" like Winnipeg a city in Canada known for being cold & also meaning that he wears alot of diamonds in his jewelry. Diamonds also known as "rocks" making a references to Fred Flintstone the popular classic Cartoon "The Flintstones". Bottom line is in my opinion Cam'Ron is very talented. His music is soulful and full of culture. My respect for him goes beyond music. He keeps it real and is very comedic. He is not afraid to stand out and state his opinion on something. Many rappers/artists dont do that anymore these days. He is a trendsetter when it comes to slang. For example popular phrases used now such as "Stop It 5", "Curve" and usage of calling someone "Slime"
